Miley Cyrus has advice for troubled Justin Bieber on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno
She is almost as controversial as he is.
And Miley Cyrus waded into the Justin Bieber controversy by offering him some advice on The Tonight Show on Thursday.
The sage 21-year-old had some under fire teenager, who has been charged with assault in his native Canada and facing DUI and resisting arrest charges in Florida.

She said: ‘You’ve got a lot of money. Pay people to make sure you don’t get in trouble, and party at your house.
‘Buy a house, and add a club to it.’
The canny Hannah Montana star also made sure she avoided a verbal low blow by the chinny chat show host, who wanted to know if she had done anuthing she regretted as a teen.
The former Hannah Montana favourite said: ‘You know it’s funny cos today I was looking, my fans had put all these mugshots up and they were like, “I don’t see a Miley mugshot yet.”

‘I get the most flack from anybody but I don’t do anything illegal.
‘I’m doing a lot of s**t, but I’m not doing anything illegal – so that’s alright. Everything I do is legal in California.’
Jay also surprised her with her debut TV appearance as a toddler on the Nashville show Music City Tonight.
She ran on while her father Billy Ray was being interviewed, and when the show’s host grabbed her and brought her onto the stage, he persuaded her to pull-off her top party trick at the time of rolling her eyes.
He also joked about how her boyfriend was a Willie Nelson doll she was carrying around at the time.
Afterwards she said: ‘It’s weird when guys ask me who was my first boyfriend and I have to tell people it’s Willie Nelson and then I have to go into the whole story.

‘My dad loves to tell people that, but out of context. I’m like, “Dad, you’ve got to tell the whole story or it’s really weird. It’s really creepy.”‘
She also revealed her mother Tish gets angry that she keeps sticking her tongue out on stage and for photographs.
But Miley explained: ‘It’s because I don’t like getting my picture taken, I kind of get embarrassed.
‘You don’t see it, on the red carpet the people taking your pictures are yelling at you and it gets you a little nervous. They’re screaming. I don’t know what to do so I just stick my tongue out because I don’t know what else to do.
‘People are doing it, Madonna’s doing it. It’s all good.’
Overall it was a polished performance for the singer, but it remains to be seen what fashionistas will make of Miley’s decision to wear head-to-toe denim for her appearance.
The Wrecking Ball star joked she had raided Jay’s wardrobe for the outfit, joking she had around 20 shirts to choose from.
And she certainly seemed pleased with the outfit, as she was grinning from ear-to-ear as she basked in the audience applause as she emerged for her interview.
And she certainly was wearing the best of threads, as was adorned in a Saint Laurent shirt, jeans, and shoes.
The provocative popstrel even added a dash of vintage flair to her look by wearing a vintage Chanel belt, which surely cost a pretty penny.

Whether it was quiet enough to rescue her venture into the world of double denim from being a fashion blunder remains to be seen.
She seemed to have a great time sharing a chinwag with the show’s comedy legend host.
But while Jay is the reigning king of late night, the end of his second stint on the The Tonight Show is nigh.
In his final week he has the task of interviewing his replacement Jimmy Fallon as well as chewing the fat with fellow comedy legend Billy Crystal.
The former, who is the man taking his job, will be the first to feature with a guest appearance on the NBC programme on February 5.
But his final night on February 6 will feature Billy Crystal the chinny star’s first guest away back in May 1992 when he succeeded Johnny Carson.
