Arnold Schwarzenegger receives $3m payday to star in Superbowl ad for Bud Light

For it has been revealed that Arnold Schwarzenegger is being paid a whopping $3m to star in an advertisement for Bud Light during the Superbowl on 2 February.
The 66-year-old Terminator star has reinvented himself following his spell as Governor Of California, but even he could not turn down such a lucrative payday.

It is quite a costly venture for the beer company as just a 30-second spot during the American football game costs $4million.
A source told the New York Post: ‘Arnold has shot a series of ads in Japan but pretty much hasn’t done anything in the US.
‘Persuading him to promote a beer is a big coup for Bud Light.’

The Predator star will not be the only famous face during the game ads as the commercials will feature many familiar faces from the movie world.
SodaStream will air an ad featuring Scarlett Johansson during the fourth quarter, while Lawrence Fishburne is expected to reprise his iconic The Matrix character Morpheus to appear in a commercial for Kia Motors.
Sir Ben Kingsley, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Strong will star in Jaguar’s commercial, which is based on British movie bad guys.
David Beckham will once again promote his H&M bodywear line in an advertisement during the big game.
The former Governor of California’s beer commercial will not be his only upcoming role as he has a few film projects pending.
Arnold has three films set to come out this year including the third instalment of the star studded The Expendables action movie franchise.
Another one of Arnold’s signature characters is also set to hit the silver screen again as Terminator: Genesis is currently in pre-production for a summer 2015 release.
The film will be the fifth of the series and is set to be directed by Alan Taylor who recently completed superhero movie Thor: Dark World.
