Pharrell Williams dons green mountain hat after listing one he wore to Grammys on eBay
When you find a look that works for you, stick with it.
That seems to be the philosphy Pharrell Williams is living by since causing a stir at the Grammys with his oversized Mountain Hat by British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.
The 40-year-old singer-songwriter has been seen since the music awards in at least three other colours of his signature headwear, including a green version he wore Monday while shoe shopping at Collette in Paris.
Signature look: The singer-songwriter is rarely seen without his oversized hats these days
Over the past week, he’s also worn a fuchsia edition in London and a gray one for an appearance on German television.
He also sported the gray one at the Oscar-nominee luncheon in Beverly Hills earlier this month and on the cover of March 1 issue of Billboard.
The multi-talented musician started the trend with the camel coloured version of the $180 lid, which he is currently auctioning off on eBay for charity.
Nice lid: The fashion icon wore his gray version on the German TV show Wetten Dass with Leandro Palmes on Friday

The skyscraping park ranger-style headgear became a popular search on Google and even inspired its own Twitter account called Pharrell’s Hat.
According to the Vivienne Westwood website: ‘The Mountain or Buffalo Hat, as it is also referred to as, sits 8inches tall with a 2.5inch brim’ and is available in camel, black, navy, green, bordeaux, red and fuchsia pink felt and a woven straw version for the summer.
So, the star is only about halfway to completing his collection, unless he is saving the black, navy, bordeaux, red and woven styles for future appearances.
Fame game: Manchester United stars Ashley Young and Danny Welbeck bumped into Pharrell on Friday night
The generous star decided that his infamous huge fedora might do more for charity than it would on his head, so he put it up for bid on eBay – with the proceeds benefiting his charity for at-risk youths.
The bid stands at $14,500 as of Monday afternoon and is bound to get even higher. It even includes free shipping.
The hat has been described as looking like a ranger hat, the Arby’s logo and cartoon charater Dudley Do-right’s Canadian Mountie-style hat.
Up for auction: Pharrell Williams, shown in January in Los Angeles, has put the Vivienne Westwood hat he wore to the Grammys up for auction with proceeds going to his charity foundation

Pharrell put the big brown hat up for auction on Thursday with bidding scheduled to March 2 – and noted the winning bidder will receive a letter of authenticity.
The bidding opened at $200 and the high bid in just hours had reached $10,500.
‘Hey @Arbys, you want my hat? Now’s your chance…,’ Pharrell tweeted to his nearly three million followers on Twitter as he announced the auction.
The Get Lucky singer was referencing the American fast-food sandwich chain Arby’s and its large red hat logo.
The outlandish hat was a major hit at the Grammys with stars such as Beyonce, Jay-Z, Ryan Seacrest and Ariana Grande posing for pictures with Pharrell wearing it.
Pharrell first busted out the grey version while visiting the BBC Radio 1 studios in London.
The Blurred Lines collaborator also sported the hard-to-miss hat at the National Basketball Association All-Star game earlier this month and at the BRITS awards on Wednesday.
The Oscar nominee for Best Original Song for Happy from Despicable Me 2 will direct all proceeds from the charity auction to his non-profit From One Hand To Another foundation.
The foundation helps under-served youths by creating learning centers to empower children to learn through new technologies, arts and media.
