Martin Jol admitted his fate is no longer in his hands after Fulham slumped to their fifth successive Premier League defeat.
His team did not have a single shot as they went down 3-0 at West Ham and, asked if he would still be in charge for the visit of Tottenham on Wednesday, Jol said: ‘It’s not in my hands. Quizzed over whether his players were still fighting for him, Jol added: ‘I think so.
Fulham look to have a readymade replacement in former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen, brought in to work alongside Jol last month by new American owner Shahid Khan.
Jol added: ‘This is my worst run as a manager.
