Rampant Thunder turn down the Heat

Durant scores 19 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in Thunder’s; Spurs hand Nuggets their four straight loss.

The Oklahoma City Thunder moved above .500 for the first time this season when they beat Miami Heat 94-86 on the road.

In a game between the teams who met for the 2012 NBA Championship, Kevin Durant had 19 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Thunder (21-20), while Russell Westbrook added 19 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.

The Heat (18-23) got 18 points from Dwyane Wade, who returned after missing two games due to a hamstring injury.

Elsewhere, Kawhi Leonard had 17 points and 15 rebounds and Tony Parker scored 18 points to help the San Antonio Spurs beat Denver 109-99, as the Nuggets slid to their fourth straight loss.

Tim Duncan scored 16 points for San Antonio (27-16), who have won four straight and six of their last seven.

The Spurs have surged since going 8-10 in December, when they struggled with injuries.
