Justin Bieber finally came out of hiding late Friday night in Miami, Florida, smiling and signing autographs as if his DUI arrest had never happened.
After spending more than a day in seclusion inside his rented mansion, the pop star emerged surrounded by bodyguards, causing a fan meltdown and media mayhem.
Those gathered outside swarmed the 19-year-old as he was escorted to a waiting car.
The singer was beaming despite posting a forlorn picture of himself earlier on Instagram.
Despite his smiles for waiting fans, the pressure of the last 24 hours appears to be weighing on the teenager.
The Baby singer is apparently leaning on his Christian faith, captioning the image, ‘Thank u lord [sic]’.
Fan frenzy: Those gathered outside swarmed the 19-year-old as he was escorted to a waiting car
Bling, bling: The pop star covered his face with big sunglasses and donned a backwards hat, a hooded red short-sleeved sweater with black embellishment on the front and two very heavy gold chains
Justin had been holed up in the house ever since he was released on bail after a Thursday DUI arrest.
However, the Instagram selfie gave the world their first chance to see inside his walled-world.
Holding his camera out with one tattooed arm, the star stares down the lens with his head furrowed in the image.
While not looking like his usual self, the pop star does wear his normal style donning a backwards hat and a hooded red short-sleeved sweater with black embellishment on the front.
He’s a believer: Just moments earlier, the 19-year-old posted a forlorn picture of himself on his Instagram and thanking Jesus
By his side: Following Justin out was his father Jeremy, 38 – whom many have branded a bad influence
Going on a trip? An assistant was also seen carrying a large amount of luggage out to the car
Clearly the star is now planning on leaving Florida as following him out was his father Jeremy, 38 – whom many have branded a bad influence.
An assistant was also seen carrying a large amount of luggage out to the car.
The Instagram picture followed a tweet just a few hours earlier in which Justin finally addressed his fans telling them to stay strong as criticism is leveled at their support following the incident – that involved drugs, alcohol and drag racing.
The Baby singer also tweeted a photo of himself next to Michael Jackson, hinting that he has stepped into the King Of Pop’s shoes.
They have the place surrounded: Fans outnumbered the waiting media, all of whom were doing their best to see the star
Last time we saw him: On Thursday Justin sat on the roof of his waiting SUV as he waved to fans outside jail after posting bail Thursday
The young star has however, refused to comply with his management team that has urged him to check into rehab.
Late on Friday the star spoke for the first time since his arrest – via Twitter – to his loyal fans.
While Justin did not address the incident directly he told his fans to stay strong and know God was with them and the embattled pop star.
The 19-year-old wrote on Twitter all in capitals: ‘YOU ARE ALL WORTHY NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS >> BE STRONG GOD IS WITH US ALL> MY BELIEBERS CHANGED MY LIFE> I WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL.’
In a bid to make the world see he is more than just a billionaire brat, he also retweeted a fan’s tweet to him saying the Beauty And The Beat star had saved their life.
Justin Speaks: After hours of silence, the 19-year-old finally addressed his fans late Friday telling them to stay strong as criticism is leveled at their support following the incident – which involved drugs, alcohol and drag racing
Lifesaver: In a bid to make the world see he is more than just a billionaire brat, the singer also retweeted a fan’s tweet to him saying the Beauty And The Beat star had saved their life
The fan, who goes by the screen name Never Leaving JB, wrote: ‘YOU saved my life and everyday I am grateful to YOU. Never change for anyone. You are an amazing kind soul @justinbieber.’
On the fan’s page they claim ‘Justin saved my life on March 5th 2011’.
Previously, the only glimpse into the Heartbreaker singer’s post-bail life has been a photo taken by a reporter of people mingling in the courtyard of Justin’s temporary Miami digs.
The image was shocking because usually when a star is arrested, everything is done to improve his image. But not in Bieber‘s case.
When his friend, model Chantel Jeffries – who was with him the night of his arrest – was seen leaving the Believe singer’s posh beige house on Friday afternoon, it only cemented an image of Justin continuing his fun-loving streak with Miami locals.
His crash pad: The singer was holed up in this Mediterranean style rental in Miami since his release on bail until late Friday
Most alarming is that the teen has not had any contact with manager Scooter Braun, MailOnline has learned exclusively.
‘A private plane was on standby all day on Thursday,’ a source tells MailOnline exclusively. ‘It was really disappointing that he never got on it. Justin needs to get help now.’
The team – which helped catapult Justin to mega success and make him very rich – cannot even convince him to address the scandal.
‘They want him to get help and he doesn’t want to get help so Justin is just avoiding his entire team,’ the source added to MailOnline.
‘He’s being defiant and not listening. His team is insisting he go to rehab and he’s not doing it. He just keeps partying.
‘He is really not communicating with anyone besides his dad and his rapper friends.’
His DUI night pals are STILL around: Model Chantel Jeffries (left) was seen exiting Justin’s rental on Friday while Khalil Sharief (right) was spotted entering the digs hours later (right)
The party doesn’t stop: People hanging out in the patio of Bieber’s Florida rental
Escape: The exclusive Mediterranean Mansion that Bieber is renting during his week in Miami. The property leases out for around $2,500- $5,000 per night
Entertainment spot: The property boasts three separate buildings, five suites and an outdoor area perfect for barbecuing and late-night entertainment
The people surrounding him these days – and have been influencing him – are not the same people who helped build his massive career, that has included 100m records sold, hit films and a fragrance empire.
Instead, the teen is spending time with his father, who was not only on the scene with Justin when he entered a drag race with rapper Khalil Sharief, aged 19, in Miami Beach that resulted in the teen going ‘up to 60 mph’ in a 30 mph zone, according to Miami police.
But the dad was also partying with him at SET nightclub just hours earlier, where Justin was already high – he had told police during the time of his arrest that he had smoked marijuana ‘all day,’ was on prescription drugs and had consumed a beer.
No wonder he didn’t want to leave: The pad has a covered swimming pool and outdoor dining area
No need to go out: With a large flat-screen TV Justin was able to watch movies and sporting events comfortably
Big enough for a huge entourage: Let’s hope this kitchen was stocked with more than beer and chips
Wants to be royalty: The star tweeted this image of himself post-bail next to Michael Jackson and added a crown next to his comment ‘What more can they say,’ suggesting he loves the comparison
What does this mean?: Mr Bieber tweeted about the ‘enemy’ on Friday
Justin Bieber’s dad Jeremy, seen here on Thursday outside the jail where his son was held, has been called a bad influence
In the mix: The father, who played a part in the singer’s drag race, was seen talking to Justin’s lawyers
You call that a disguise: Justin’s pal Khalil Sharieff was spotted leaving the star’s Miami digs on Friday while wearing a bright red hoodie
TMZ reported his blood alcohol content was .014, not the .04 that was originally reported. Either way, the singer had admitted to consuming alcohol.
‘His father was the one who was helping clear the street so Justin could race his Lamborghini,’ a source tells MailOnline.
No longer close: The Baby singer’s manager Scooter Braun, spotted here with Bieber in 2012, wants him in rehab
Flight to nowhere: Bieber’s management team had a plane waiting, but Bieber is staying put in Miami for now (file picture showing a private jet Bieber was on back in 2010 in Vancouver)
‘It’s fair to say Jeremy is not a great influence – he certainly enjoys and takes advantage of his son’s money and lifestyle.’
On Friday Jeremy – who has over two million followers – tweeted, ‘I can protect my kids, but I can’t protect them from you and your lies. Believe in the truth not in the lies of the enemy. #real life.’
It was not made clear who the ‘enemy’ was.
‘Justin’s manager Scooter has been trying to get Justin help for the past two weeks, but no-one’s helping,’ the source added to MailOnline.
‘Of course people care about Justin, but we are in a very difficult situation.’
Man in demand: Bieber’s friend Khalil, who was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, was mobbed by a group of fans as he walked nearby his Miami hotel on Friday
Hugging it out: One fan embraced the rapper as he talked on his phone
Others who have the star’s ear include rappers Lil Za, who was arrested at Bieber’s Calabasas, California, mansion in mid January after police stormed the house looking for evidence linked to the egging of a neighbor’s house.
Then there’s Lil’ Scrappy, another musician who invited the Baby singer to the strip club King Of Diamonds on Tuesday to help celebrate his birthday.
That is where the young star asked for $75,000 worth of single bills to throw at strippers, according to the club’s tweets.
And there’s Lil Twist, who has collaborated with Khalil on three songs for Def Jam Records.
Also in Bieber’s entourage is Chantel Jeffries, a 21-year-old model with a rap sheet that includes an arrest for reckless driving. She was with Bieber at SET nightclub and just before his arrest.
Not so cocky: Despite this happy mugshot, People reports that Justin was later seen ‘crying his eyes out’ on Thursday in Miami
Not so happy here: His profile, taken in a red top, was more glum
Meeting the judge: Justin Bieber faced a judge via video on Thursday afternoon in Miami, Florida following his DUI arrest after a drag race hours earlier
Sad times: Justin’s mother Pattie Mallette, seen here in 2011, has been urging him to get help
Noticeably absent in Justin’s life is the woman who raised him pretty much all by herself, Pattie Mallette who has yet to comment on her son’s arrest.
The frequent tweeter has not typed a word since Wednesday, the day before the arrest.
Her name was brought up by TMZ that reported Bieber told Miami police his mother had given him the anti-anxiety prescription medication Xanax.
Also absent is on-again, off-again girlfriend of nearly three years Selena Gomez, who is reportedly ‘worried sick’ about her former boyfriend.
‘She has not spoken to Justin yet but has been in touch with his mom, who is also worried sick about her son,’ a source told HollywoodLife.com.
‘They are all hoping this is a wake-up call. Selena is just beyond thankful that no one was hurt.’
Bieber’s management is reportedly not happy with Gomez’s influence over the singer.
‘They don’t bring out the best in each other,’ a source tells MailOnline.
Couldn’t stand still: The Beauty And A Beat singer fidgeted as he stood in front of a sheriff’s badge
Justin’s behavior after his arrest has been particularly disturbing.
In his mug shot he smiled. While facing a judge over video, he fidgeted and failed to focus. Then after he was released on bail, the Love Me singer sat atop his car and waved to fans as if he was loving the attention.
Howver, there are signs that the young performer is cracking besides his tweet to fans.
People has reported the star ‘cried his eyes out’ after his $2,500 bail was met.
RadarOnline maintained Justin was acting very odd before he faced the judge on camera. He was reportedly mumbling to himself and giggling, which the site’s source attributed to him still being ‘under the influence.’
Feeling no shame: The teenager smirked as he made his way to a chauffeured car
Justin, who was in handcuffs as he was escorted to a county jail, looked depressed as he stood before the judge.
With his hair still coiffed into a slick Elvis Presley-style up-wave from the night before, but devoid of the gold earrings and chains he wore during his arrest, Justin appeared to already be hungover.
He moved his head from side to side and seemed to chew the inside of his cheek as he listened to the judge’s remarks.
Bieber’s bail was broken down by the judge as such: $1,000 for resisting arrest, $1,000 for his DUI and $500 for driving with an expired driver’s license.

Stopped: The star in his yellow Lamborghini just before being pulled over after 4 am
A the time of the arrest, Justin used foul language with the police officer and immediately was defensive.
According to the police report, Justin used the F word repeatedly after being pulled over for drag racing.
‘Why did you stop me?’ said the singer. The officer noted he stopped him because he was drag racing, and in his report, noted Bieber had ‘bloodshot eyes.’
After the officer asked the Believe star to step out of the car, he said, ‘Why the f*** are you doing this?’

‘The officer smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Mr Bieber’s car,’ Martinez said in his conference.
‘He used some choice words about why he was stopped or why I was even questioning him.’
The officer also noted Justin was ‘a little belligerent.’

Wash his mouth out with soap: Justin used the F word almost a half dozen times when talking to the Miami officer
Party boy: The singer leaving a club with friends in Miami late on Wednesday night
His drag race partner: Khalil, a rapper on Def Jam Records, also had his mug shot taken
Justin got out of his car, but kept putting his hands in his pocket, according to a detailed description from the arresting officer in his police report.
The officer stated he asked the teen to then put his hands on his own vehicle.
That’s when the singer said, ‘What the f*** did I do, why did you stop me?’
When the Canada native turned to face the officer, he said, ‘I ain’t got no f****ing weapons, why do you have to search me? What the f*** is this about?’
Comfort food: His ex Selena Gomez was spotted on Friday stopping at a Jack In The Box Drive-Thru in Tarzana, California
Bieber was again told to put his hands on his car. But when the Love Me singer faced the officer for a second time, the policeman ‘grabbed his right hand and stated to him that he was under arrest.’
Bieber then ‘began to resist me by pulling his right arm away as he stated: “What the f*** are you doing?”‘ according to the officer.
That is when another officer was called for assistance and the musician was placed into custody.
Both the Ferrari that his friend Khalil was seen driving and the Lamborghini have been impounded.
Justin was spotted driving away from SET nightclub in Miami with Chantel.
The 21-year-old model has dated a string of stars including P. Diddy’s son, American footballer DeSean Jackson, and Bieber’s friend Lil Twist.
According to her Twitter biography, she’s a ‘student, model, eyebrow connoisseur, animal lover, and deep thinker.’
It has also been revealed the looker was arrested in 2011 for reckless driving in North Carolina, according to RadarOnline.
Inside SET nightclub Justin can be seen with his hat on backwards and not wearing a shirt. He is also sporting several gold chains around his neck. Chantel was constantly by his side.
Later, he was spotted exiting the club with a hoodie on over his Kings hat, loose black shorts and red sneakers.

Spotted: The pair were pictured in the early hours of Thursday morning by friend Khalil, who captioned this Instagram shot: ‘U know bizzle brought that lambo out’
Heart-to-heart: Only 48 hours before his arrest Bieber told model Carmen Ortega that he feels under a lot of pressure. ‘He gets such a bad rep when he’s a really nice guy,’ she said.
Be supportive of Beliebers: Lady Gaga’s message of support for Justin Bieber and his fans
Only 48 hours before his arrest, Bieber had a heart to heart with model Carmen Ortega during a trip to a strip club.
‘Justin says he feels under so much pressure’, she told the New York Daily News Friday. ‘He really cares what people say. He was saying that all this attention is ruining his career. He was really sad.’
The model, who spent around 90 minutes with Bieber on Tuesday, she insisted that he was just a ‘normal dude’.
‘He gets such a bad rep when he’s a really nice guy. He’s just doing what any teenager would do if they were a star with lots of money.’
One star standing by Bieber though was Lady Gaga, who has had her own share of problems.
Getting a glimpse: Fans and the media tried to catch a glimpse of Justin at his rented mansion
Climbing the walls: Fans of the Canadian pop star gathered on Thursday night at the private mansion he rented in Miami
The Born This Way Singer wrote on her blog appealing to her fans to give Bieber the benefit of the doubt.
‘Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and to stand up for themselves, but I think we should be supportive of Beliebers,’ she wrote. They deserve, just like any other fan, to feel strong for each other and Justin so they can continue to share the bond they have through music.’
Also on Friday ABC News reported three police officers have been suspended after it was alleged they escorted Justin to a strip club in Florida on Tuesday.
That same day RadarOnline claimed Bieber’s attorney and sizable bank account are keeping him from being deported back to his native Canada.
