Reunited Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas set off for family day with Carys and Dylan
After the hiccup of their short-lived separation, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas have come back stronger as a couple… and as the joint heads of their lovely family.
The twosome proudly ushered their son and daughter out of their Manhattan apartment on Sunday as they headed out to New Jersey to watch the Super Bowl.
Ever the protective patriarch, Douglas, 69, led the way as Carys, ten, Dylan, 13, and then 44-year-old Catherine walked behind him.
The All American outing followed hot on the heels of very happy looking clan skiing trip.
The star couple announced their separation in August last year but appear to have reconciled, they even spotted wearing their wedding rings again earlier this year.
The family looked to be having a ball – every pun intended – at the game, and even got into the spirit of the national anthem fully.
Catherine looked incredibly happy as she threw her arms in the air and waved at the cameras, while Michael clapped and applauded looking healthy and fit.

Sticking together: The couple have admirably ironed out their issues to persevere
Welsh-born Catherine wore a vibrant red poncho over a pinstriped suit.
The actress stood next to her son Dylan during the event while Douglas stood between Dylan and their daughter Carys.
Just behind the family were Sir Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell.
The pair had a rough 2013 but it looks like 2014 is going to be a more prosperous 365 days for the couple who have been married for 14 years.
Michael, who is on the mend after suffering with cancer in 2010, looked well wearing an all-black outfit for the outing with is family.
Helping hand: Douglas was met by his security guard as they reached the pavement
Hey boy: Dylan walked ahead of his mother as they prepared to set off
Setting a good example: Michael and Catherine have worked through their problems
The family posted pictures of themselves on a skiing holiday earlier this year, confirming their reunion and quelling any rumours of a further separation.
During an appearance on The Jay Leno show, Romancing The Stone actor Michael explained that talks between himself and Catherine have been going well.
When asked how things are between them, he answered: ‘Good I hope. I’ve been away for a while but everything should hopefully be on the up and up,’ he said.
Michael and Catherine, who share the same birthday, married in 2000 after less than two years of dating.
