Star Wars’ Lupita Nyong’o is nearly unrecognizable in mismatched scarf, glasses and hat in NYC
The weather in New York has cooled down significantly as fall makes its presence felt.
So it’s understandable why Lupita Nyong’o wrapped up warm on Sunday when she was spotted out with a pal after a matinee performance of her play, Eclipsed, in downtown Manhattan.
But the 32-year-old Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens standout was almost unrecognizable while covered up in a scarf, sunglasses and hat.

The beauty also had a grey coat over a maroon top and green jeans with black boots.
She covered her hair with a natty trilby and kept her precious vocal cords warm with a cream scarf that she wrapped around her neck several times.With a two-month run of Eclipse in front of her, the Oscar-winning actress has to do everything she can to protect her voice.
Written by The Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira, Lupita stars as the youngest sex slave being held captive by a rebel commander during the Liberian Civil War in the drama, which is currently in previews at the Public Theater.

Lupita has been promoting the challenging drama and on Thursday she looked her stylish self in a light grey dress and jacket for an appearance on ABC’s The View.
The 12 Years A Slave actress added a fun pop of color to her otherwise monochromatic look with a pair of bright orange pumps.

She described the plays as being ‘about these women and how they deal with the situation of war and what war does to who they become.’
Lupita actually started out as a stage actor, having trained at Yale. However, this is her first time back on stage since then.
‘It feels so good to have a live audience and to go through that experience together,’ the actress gushed of the show, which runs until November 29.

In addition to her work onstage, the actress has a busy film schedule ahead of her.
She appears in the highly anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens due out on December 18.
Also upcoming are drama Queen Of Katwe and Disney’s live-action adaptation of The Jungle Book, scheduled to bow on April 15.
