The 2013 TNM Super League resumes on September 28, Super League of Malawi(Sulom) has announced.
Sulom has since advised clubs to take advantage of the break and beef up their squads.
“This is the time for the teams to sign new players and prepare for the final lap of the 2013 season. We wish them all the best as the go about this exercise,” Sulom general secretary Williams Banda said.
Kamuzu Barracks finished on top of the table at 29 points.
The soldiers ascended to the top of the table after they beat Mafco 1-0 at Dwangwa’s Chitowe Stadium.
Might Wanderers finished on second position with 27 points followed by Red Lions who have 25 points on third position.
Blue Eagles finished on fourth position while Bullets FC are fifth.
Defending champions Silver Strikers have finished the first round at positions six.
At the bottom of the table is Mzuzu United, Evirom and Mponela FC who have nine points each.
Meanwhile, the transfer window which opened on September 12 closes on September 27, a day before the second round kicks off.
Sulom general secretary said players should only join the club they intend to move to after Sulom has issued the clearance.
