Uganda’s top musician, Jose Chameleone cancelled his Dubai shows and settled for Malawi and is set to brush shoulders with fans in the country this weekend starting off in Blantyre before concluding with two shows in Lilongwe.
Chameleone is expected to perform at Comesa Hall in Blantyre Friday night and in Lilongwe at Mungo Park and Lilongwe Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
The musician wrote on his facebook page, “Malawi here I come full band loaded”.
Some of the local artists expected to share stage with the Ugandan include the Black Missionaries, Anthony Makondetsa, Maskal, Sally Nyundo, Skeffa Chimoto, Symon and Kendall and Lucius Banda.
The musician released his first album in 2000 and has released twelve more albums including popular Mama Mia in 2003, Njo Karibu and The Golden Voices, among others.
